The Wellington Boardriders Club hosted the 2010 Wellington Regional Scholastics Surfing Champs on Saturday March 20th at Lyall Bay in Wellington, New Zealand. The juniors fought it out in clean head high waves with a strong offshore wind blowing making it difficult to paddle onto the waves. However the grommets revealed in the conditions & made the most of having the corner pretty much to themselves.
